Community Guidelines
These rules exist so everyone feels safe and welcome. They're enforced by our moderation team.
Respect & Conduct
Be respectful to all members
Treat everyone with dignity regardless of their denomination, level of observance, ethnicity, or background. Disagreements are fine — personal attacks are not.
No hate speech or discrimination
Racism, sexism, homophobia, and any form of bigotry will result in an immediate ban. This is a safe space for all Jewish people.
No harassment or bullying
Do not target, stalk, or repeatedly antagonize other members. If someone asks you to stop, stop.
Content & Channels
Keep discussions in the right channels
Political discussions belong in the politics channel. Torah questions go in Ask About Judaism. Use channels as intended.
No NSFW content
This is a community with members as young as 13. Keep all content appropriate.
No spam or self-promotion
Don't flood channels with repetitive messages, unsolicited links, or advertisements without permission from staff.
Identity & Safety
Be honest about your identity
Our verification process exists for a reason. Misrepresenting your Jewish status, denomination, or identity is grounds for removal.
No proselytizing or missionary activity
This includes Messianic 'Judaism,' Jews for Jesus, or any attempt to convert members to another religion.
Respect privacy
Do not share other members' personal information, real names, photos, or anything shared in confidence without their explicit permission.
Moderation
Follow staff instructions
Our moderators and admins work hard to keep this space safe. If a staff member asks you to stop doing something, please comply.
Report issues, don't escalate
If you see a problem, report it to staff rather than engaging with the person directly. We'll handle it.
Bans and appeals
If you are banned, you may appeal through the appropriate channels. Bans are not given lightly and are always reviewed by multiple staff members.
